They make fun of PlayStation Insider really great acquisition

New PlayStation Plus Sucks - Inside Games

Multiple PlayStation experts are causing a great acquisition of Sony in the near future. As it is, the industry is located in the Age of Acquisitions. Although these purchases are not a new concept, the amount of them has been quite overwhelming. Microsoft has been buying great studies from left to right, such as Bethesda and Activision, some of the largest equipment in the industry. Earlier this year, Sony bought Bungie, which is a minor purchase in relation to the recent acquisitions of Microsoft, but still very remarkable. Sony will not only take advantage of Bungie capabilities to create games, but will also expand the intellectual property of the developer in other media.

However, it seems that there is more on the horizon. Industry experts Greg Miller and Jeff Grubb pointed out (through Okami13_ on Twitter) have heard about a great acquisition in process. Miller expected the acquisition to be announced at some point in last week, which caused him to delay the recording of his Kinda Funny podcast for later in the week. Of course, nothing happened, but given the roots of IGN and the story of Miller with PlayStation, it is fair to suppose that he is not inventing anything. It remains to be seen if something really happens or not, but maybe something I get earlier than late. It is not exactly clear who is being purchased, but the two seemed to emphasize it was a big problem. However, it should be taken with a grain of salt until something happens.

Sony has already declared that it has plans for more acquisitions, but a schedule has not been given for such a thing. One would have expected the agreement to be announced this week, since the first financial quarter of 2022 has just come to an end, but maybe there are some things that should still be resolved. Since there are no significant game events planned until closer to summer, any acquisition probably arises from nowhere on a random day of the week.
