GunGrave G.O.R.E. Director Confirms Video Game Will Act as Franchise Follow Up

Gungrave

Gun grave is set to restore its anime universe later this month, and with Origin returning next year through the new anime series, Origin Stampede, basic director Kay Kim seized the day to address our questions when it concerned reviving Bashir Nigh tow's gun-slinging franchise. Arriving as a video game on the PlayStation 2 in 2002, the series went on to get its own anime adjustment one year later, with the animators at Studio Madhouse bringing this tale of vengeance to the small screen. Receiving twenty-six episodes, the brand-new Gun grave G.O.R.E game will expand on deep space's story.

To begin our interview, we took the chance to ask Kim about whether this new entry would be a continuation of the story we initially saw in the early 2000s or if this would be a reboot:

First came the initial game and after that the anime was produced due to the popularity of the video game. The core storyline and character background has remained the same as previously, but there are some minor modifications from the original game. G.O.R.E is an extension of the storyline from the franchise set in the exact same universe.

Kim then took the opportunity to broaden on the different method that they are taking with the development of G.O.R.E. versus the initial video game that first landed in 2002:

It's more precise to see it as we acquired the advantages of the previous title, then blended in some functions today's gamers would anticipate to see from a current action game. Since Gun grave G.O.R.E was established within the complete scope of the franchise, we can securely say there will be a lot for the initial fans to appreciate, while still fresh to newcomers.

Sadly, while this brand-new game might be bringing us back into the anime universe that was first produced by Bashir Nigh tow, do not expect a revival in a comparable vein as Origin, with Vast the Stampede set to return to the small screen next year, as the video game director hasn't considered next actions:

Gun grave G.O.R.E. is set to release on November 22nd, 2022, and will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC.

We have not believed about the next actions in the future of the series so far. What we consider the most is getting approval from the gamers as a video game. We simply want users to have fun with our game and anticipate seeing what they think about Tomb's return.
